I think there are probably definitely fewer males in our position than there are females, but it's just because there are more males in the military than females.
I'm totally cool with you and any other Husband joining in here. I've thought for awhile the board should be Military Spouses in the interest of Being PC. Just because dependent hubs are less common, doesn't mean they don't exist and even base services are mainly geared for women, I get it... but still.
Most military husbands I know are in a dual active marriage and I don't think they'd seek out a group like this, which is FTR..their loss.
I agree with Jess and Dedi. Honestly, I'd love to have a male perspective around here sometimes. :) It would be a nice change from time to time. Out of all the spouses I know, only one is a man. I hope you'll stick around and post with us.
As far as the title of the board, that's an iVillage thing and I think it's because the site itself is geared towards women instead of men.
I've known a few military spouses who happen to be men in my time. So, feel free to join us.
I get the feeling that you would rather this be an all female group. For those that wouldnt mind a male joining the group like dedi thanks I do appriciate the warm welcome. As for the tmi discussions, im sure its nothing being married for 14 yrs I havent heard
