OK - So how do we know where to post?

Seeing as there are two sectins now, are there guidelines as to what topic goes where? I see a genereal discussion and a topic discussion... what's the difference? What exactly is genral and topic? Am I here? Where am I? I think I'm confused!

We are working on setting up folders for each type of conversation that occurs on the board. For now it is ok to post to either one. We will have for example a "information" folder under which you would ask questions or give out information. That is just an example not particularly what we will have.
I hope that helps explain it.
