Do I need to include a copy of the poa when I file my taxes ? I usually do it online but since we are paying in $2400 thanks to a mistake of the payroll department (GRRR) I am doing it all by hand and will have to sign them. TIA

Yes, if you are signing for him.

What you do, is sign his name in his spot, around it put By "your name" attorney-in-fact

and then sign your name in your spot.

This is what we do here at our tax center, as I work there. Plus it was also recommended you sign this way by the CPT, who is also a lawyer.

Let me know if you have any questions.
