My decorated husband has bravely served in two wars, with 20 years of peacetime inbetweea.

When he was reactivated for Iraq, he had to walk away from his own business.

First, I'd like to say thank you to your husband for his career of service and a big thank you to you too for everything you have done and sacrificed during his career as well.

Second, I would like to say I'm sorry for what your husband is going through. Thankfully, I have no personal experience with PTSD but have heard enough stories and have enough friends who are dealing with it to understand the toll it takes on not only the service member but their families as well.

I think it's great that you want to reach out to other family members. I wholeheartedly agree that people caring for others often neglect themselves and it's wonderful that you want to make a place where those who may be neglecting themselves can turn.

Please feel free to stick around here with us also. We have a great group of women here.
