much to say really lol so I just haven't posted a "personal" post. It seems to get lost here anyway so I figured I'd wait till I actually had something to say lol See even CL's feel neglected at times lol :-D

Dh got to come home yesterday much to my suprise for a few hours. He got her at about 3pm and left this am at 9am. I enjoyed being pampered and the beautiful bouquet of flowers he brought for me. He is such a romantic at times. It ALWAYS does us good to be apart for about 2 weeks lol because he remembers to appreciate me and I well I benifit all the way around ;-)

The girls are off for spring break but we aren't doing any traveling. Tomorrow we are meeting at the unit and making a Welcome back sign for the guys and for the guys coming home from Turkey! I am so excited about this because one of my friends' whose husband was gone nearly all of last year and then had to leave again in January will be welcoming her husband home! I am so tickled for their family! Anyway we are doing Yellow ribbons to show our support for the soldiers deployed there because we are all a military family and we want them to know we support them!

I got all my hair cut off today as well. I need to take a new picture and when I do I'll get it in my little block there on the side under my name lol I lost 3-4 inches and it feels much better but I am sort of sad/not completely happy yet lol I have wanted long hair all my life and was so close but it was just in bad shape so I decided to take the plunge and get it cut off. I always look better with shorter hair so my girls said I looked younger and thinner. Works for me! lol

Ok that is about all of the ramblings I have.

You sure we weren't separated at birth? I do the same thing with my hair. Chris has stopped answering me when I ask his opinion if I should grow my hair long - he says, "Why bother? All you're going to do is cut if off eventually anway!" and I do. I'm a short hair girl, just have to accept it.

And then Steve brings you flowers? Chris brought me gerber daisies yesterday - they're still in the pot, so hopefully they'll grow for a while to come. They're pick and super cute. Ahh... romance - that, and I still get butterflies when I think of him, hehe.

Congratulations to the families whose spouses are returning! How exciting! That's awesome that you and the girls will help participate in the homecoming.

Hi Rose! Yeah! CLs need love too. LOL.

Anyhoo... so you got all your hair cut off, huh? I may not be far behind you. I've been trying to grow it long again (DH loves that), but I think it looks gross. I'll cut it off after he leaves and then try again a few months before he comes home.

No traveling? WOW! LOL. It'll be nice to just spend time bumming around the house. It seems like there's never time for that overseas because we always feel like we have to go, go, go.

So, is Steve back out in the field again? I get so confused.

Hey Rose, hun,

I am sure your hair looks great! Chin up:) Glad you got to see dh...That reminded me so much of something my dh would do....which is one of the reason's i adore him...That is just too sweet. Enjoy the time with the kiddo's on spring break, and making the welcome back signs..that is always a moral booster:)

Thanks Mel...I only got 3 whole replies lol See nobody loves me but you three ;-)

Anyway, yes he is back out in the field until early Friday morning. He had to coem get a track part and so it was just a bonus it is too far to do a same day drive ;-) He'll be home for awhile now since their orders are deleted for now. It's a really long story on why the orders are deleted. But they could get new ones! Limbo land never ends lol

LOL Jill I have to admit I am a short hair girl myself. I just look better. I'll email you a picture of the new do. I tried to put it in my profile but couldn't because it was too large ;-) I have a big head I guess lol

Hey Rose,

Glad you got to see dh before he left again. That was so sweet of him to give you flowers! Dh actually bought me some flowers a couple of weeks ago, he very rarely does! lol Can't wait to see new pics of your hair. It's always nice to look younger and thinner! LOL WTG girls!!!

It has grown on me since this morning. It was such a change that it took me a while and a few times playing with it lol I am picky about my hair lol ;-)

I hope one day sooner than later your dh gets to come home and bring you flowers! I am hoping for the day when you don't have to be apart!

There goes that hair thing again, why is it always such an issue? he-he.

Remember a while back I cut mine and it's growing like a weed already! That's why I usually had long hair, the way my hair grows, I can't keep up a short haircut!

Steve is such a sweetie...you two have such a strong bond that I admire so much! So glad you were able to spend some quality time with him.

It does feel good to "look" younger and thinner lol My what a hair cut can do lol ;-)

I hear ya on how fast hair grows! I'll have to get mine cut every 3 weeks to keep this up. Otherwise it'll be out of control. My hair grows on average 1/2 to 3/4 in a month in hot weather. When I was pregnant I gave up lol because I would have just had to move in with my stylist! ;-)
