First off, I would like to thank you for not being selfish. Thank you for having such courageous husbands willing to defend my freedom. They are in my thoughts and prayers daily, as well as you and your families.

I, for one, am darn tired of these anti-American protestors. I am trying to launch a yellow ribbon campaign and candle/prayer vigil in my small little ol' town. I heard on the radio this evening that the soldiers morals are a bit low due to all the anti-war protests. I am just starting out on this tomorrow. I plan to approach the mayor, Chamber of Commerce and VFW for donations for the ribbon. I was thinking of charging $1 for the ribbons with the proceeds going to the Red Cross. One of our local schools is putting together care packages for the soldiers. Can you please let me know if there is something else I should be doing? I am not a professional so I am pretty clueless. My DH is a Vietnam vet and I remember they didn't get much support stateside. Don't want history to repeat it self. All ideas can be either posted here or emailed to ss813@krausonline.com

Thanks and stay strong...
