I was reading through the board, trying to get to know the women here. I didn't realize so many had men deployed. Last year my husband went to PSAB. It was "peace time" but still nerve wracking enough. I cannot imagine what you ladies are going through during war time. People say they know "what it must be like" but I really think the only ones who understand are ones who have been there. We were lucky enough to be stationed at a training base in Florida and so the only way DH will go is to volunteer (which he wants to do) Any ways I am rambling. I just want to say thank you to you. It's not easy to have your loved one gone. Harder still to send them to war. All military wives (and husbands) are amazing people who have an amazing amount of inner strength. May the gods keep our troops safe and return them home soon.
