Thanks for the thoughts everyone. The appointment went well. This guy was terrific with her and very motivated to find a solution. It makes me feel much more confident that she will feel better soon.

Stacy- my husband and I had a similar system when Hannah was a baby. He had to get up early so he would take the 5am feeding and then put her back to bed, get ready for work and leave us both sleeping for a bit. Of course when she started sleeping all night she was skipping my 2am feeding and going later for his. Soon he could not wait to feed her before leaving for work. I told him he needed to work it out with his boss since it was his feeding. : )

Amy - I hope the next 11 months go quickly for you!

Jenny - I hope the pediatric specialist has some better answers for you guys and Randi feels better soon.

Not much going on with me today. DH and I have a nice schedule going with the baby where I take all the night feedings and then take a nap in the morning and he handles all the feedings. We did this because I can easily fall back to sleep after being up in the middle of the night and DH can't. Now we are just relaxing, watching tv. Nathan had his last day of school today. So now he's on summer break. :) We have someone coming to put new windows in tomorrow and this weekend we are going to go see some friends/family.

I hope the new neurologist is better. I can't believe some doctors and really wonder why they even go into medicine in the first place. What a jerk that guy was!

And, poor Randi. I hope there is some relief for her and it's nothing serious. Hugs to you too. I'm sure it's hard to see your little girl in pain.

My whole week is insane. Today is no exception. Randi has an appointment today with a neurologist in Albany. She has been having headaches now for 5 months. We were seeing a neuro closer to home but the man is a jerk and has no business seeing kids. He actually said to me, in front of her, "well she just thinks I should have a magic wand" He also was less than honest with me about a medication he tried to put her on. A bit of research on my part, showed me he was giving her too much and that it is not recommended in kids her age. Anyway, so now we are off to a pediatric specialist who will, hopefully at least be sympathetic. Later is piano lessons and somehow getting a dinner on the table. : )
