We got a foot of snow on Friday night and it looks like it did two months ago outside right now. Ugh. I guess the temperatures are supposed to climb this week, which will help with melting the darn stuff! Spring break is over and I went back to school yesterday. I have a test on Thursday in Earth Science and I think it will be okay. I have two papers to work on this weekend and so I'm back to my busy self.
What a sweetie I have. From his trip he brought me a few prezzies and one was a real Chicago police department baseball-type cap! It's cute... don't know if I'll ever wear it, but it's cute. He also got me a CD that I'd asked for for Christmas, but didn't get. A week after he left, I discovered that I already owned it - too funny. I'll have to return it to get a CD I DON'T have yet! Then yesterday he bought me planted Gerber daisies - they're super cute and pink.
DH and I have decided to "wing it" in regards to finding a place to live in Virginia. It would just be too expensive to go down ahead of time to look for places, so we're planning on staying in Navy Lodging until we find a place. We'll make appointments and such ahead of time so when we do get there, we'll be good to go.
Other than that, I'm done with school in five weeks from Thursday and FIL hasn't been up to visit (and to drive me nuts). The BEST thing though is that even though I couldn't work out last week due to the gym being closed over break - I didn't gain anything! Whoo hoo! That's a positive thing!
Hope you're all doing well! Hugs, Jill
