Wanted to post yesterday but ran short

on time. I have been sitting on my fingers but I actually was awake in the middle of the night thinking about this so I have to put my two cents in.

I am just so shocked and appalled by the responses to the new format of the board. If I'm not mistaken, we are MILITARY WIVES!! The number one thing we learn early on is to be FLEXIBLE!! To know that things change. I thought out of all the boards, this one would be the one that adapted to change the best. Guess I was wrong.

As I stated in a post the other day, thank goodness our grandparents and ancestors didn't feel the same way or we wouldn't have automobiles, television, telephone, computers or internet along with other marvels that have changed our world.

Change is always hard but if you give it a chance, good things can usually come.

I'm sorry to hear that some of you are leaving because of this, I sure hope you reconsider and really realize that this can work. Look at the tips the awesome cl's here have given you and look at the tips iVillage has given and you'd be amazed at all you can do.

Okay, sorry if I offended anyone, not my intention at all but I just couldn't sit on my fingers any longer....they were going numb!

Have a great day!

Well, I agree with most of what you said. LOL But you know we as military wives deal with ENOUGH change, that maybe we get sick of it with EVERYTHING. The few things that do stay normal and the same are our safe havens, and keep us sane. This new board isn't any great new invention, so I wouldn't personally compare this with some things in your post. :) But I am giving it a shot, my need for support outweighs my dislike of the board. Who says we as military wives have to "chuck it up" for EVERYTHING? We do that enough for our husbands' careers.
