Weekend Plans?

Hey everyone! My mom made it in Wednesday night (after a 3 hour delay and running through the airport to get her connecting flight) so I've been busy showing her around. I haven't had too much time to stop in here but I wanted to see what was happening!

How are you all doing?

What's going on this weekend?

Are you planning on eating out anywhere?

Can you believe it's the last weekend in March?

Is there anything else you'd like to get off your chest?

Alls well this weekend. Today is my brother's and nephew's birthday so we went out to lunch for my brother today and next weekend the girls and I, along with my parents, are going to see my sister for my nephew's 2nd birthday party. Hubby and I have begun connecting and communicating on a whole new level in the past few days, and I couldn't be happier about that. He's always been the kind not to share his emotions or show weakness, but I think the distance from the girls (and from me, but mostly the girls) has made him realize how important his family. And I'm not saying he didn't know that before, but I think that sometimes he took me for granted,

@ Rachel: I know what you mean about other people who don't really know you telling you how to do things. I am also 23 and have 2 kids and I have people all the time give me "advice" because they think I'm incompentent because I'm a young mom and Army wife. I hate it when people talk to me like I'm stupid when they find out my age and that I have two kids and that my husband is a soldier. I went off on one woman because she started

Hi everyone, we're fine right now :)

What's going on this weekend?
- The ILs moved in on Wednesday so we're all adjusting to being in the same house, not a great deal going on.

Are you planning on eating out anywhere?
- No, just getting a take and bake pizza for dinner

Can you believe it's the last weekend in March?
- No, I can't.

quick reply to myself... lol. I know some of you might be thinking, man our base has small housing. Here is the dimensions of enlisted 3 bdrm houses. We have an older house so it's probably on the smaller side of this range. Take a gander at this lack of space-- 1,050 to 1,250 square feet... OUCH. No wonder I feel so claustrophobic

Good, tired. DD #2 has a cold and being only 5 1/2 months old I can't do much for her and she's a tad bit of a wuss so she hardly slept last night, which means mama didn't sleep much last night. So this afternoon when she took her nap (which was an astounding 3 1/2 hours long) too bad DD #1 wouldn't let me nap. Must. find. coffee. now... *yawn*

It's already sat evening here. A friend of mine, her daughter turned 7 and they are having a little party at the bowling alley. I'm debating on going. Older DD has a mild runny nose but she LOVES hanging out with Julie (the b-day girl) but the baby is just so miserable I'm not sure if I want to take her out of the house where she can be comfortable.

Sunday, who knows. DH is off. We're looking to move off base but I think the realtor is closed on Sunday so we probably won't go view houses till Monday. We're excited. We missed the opportunity to live off base in Germany and here at Andersen the housing is so small that I think with our 2 years left we would rather be off base than spend another 2 years in this house.

OMW, I know! Time is flying by. Baby girl will be 6 months old on the 2nd, I'm just like MAN! SLOW DOWN!!! :) But I'm excited because in May I'll be Space-A'ing back to OR and my friend gets married the end of June, so I'm also at thesame time thinking "HURRY UP"

Mini rant/off my chest. I hate when you have online friends who you befriend for a minor reason and they think that they know you well enough to tell you what to do. Background so y'all aren't like 'say what?' On FB (aren't almost all issues started on FB now days? lol) I belong to a private group for June 2008 babies after out IV board kind of fell apart. This woman was a mil brat (dad was Army) so she thinks she knows EVERYTHING I should and shouldn't be doing. I beg to differ, yes you did the deployments and the PCS's but you were a brat, not a spouse. There IS a difference. Also, she's 27, I'm only 23 so apparently that makes her more experienced in life than me and she has 2 girls and is pregnant again, so that makes her a parenting pro. She's just always telling me what I'm doing wrong, even if I never asked for advice, I was just stating a fact of my life. It's annoying.

Ok, phew, I feel better :D haha

doing well here:) This weekend we plan to do lots of nothing. Adam is sick and I have been having serious allergy/sinus issues. Spring is not my friend;P I dislike March, it is too dang long!!! For some reason March has always dragged, I think it is because there were no holidays during school that fell in March, lol.
