14 months old, had been laid down for a nap and tried to climb out of her crib. She fell between the crib and changing table, and got wedged so tightly she couldn't breathe or cry out for help. Please send all the P&PT his way that you can! It's bad enough having to work a kid, but having to work a fellow FFs baby .... well you can only imagine the black cloud over the entire county right now!

My prayers go out to this family, and also the entire fire department. I can only imagine the tragedy, and sadness that they are experiencing.

Thanks ladies. It is hard on them (more than usual I guess) because the dad had surgery on both of his ears- one at a time because it would render him temporarily deaf- and he is out of sick time and leave! Everyone has been covering his shifts, and it breaks my heart because when he went in for the surgeries, his only concern was that he be able to hear his daughter's first words!

These folks are in my prayers - DH knows how hard this is - two months after our daughter was born, he ended up going on a call where he had to give CPR to a fellow FF's niece who was also two months old. Totally freaked him out. Unfortunately, the little girl didn't make it. So, we know exactly what they're going through.
