Tina & Larry - Firefighter from No. KY - I like those fireworks that are gold/copper color that bloom in the sky and then come down whistling in a squiggly kind of way - I call it the spermy firework - ROTFLMBO!
Nancy from Oklahoma, married to Kevin who's a high driver. The upper echelon in his department has stagnated for the past ten years, hardly any retirements so his chance to advance has also stood still. Hopefully over the next six months to a year that will begin to change and he'll be able to increase his pay base for his retirement. I post from home when I get a turn on the computer and I'm not hoping from a phone call from my daughter in Kuwait or my son at basic training in Missouri. And I don't really enjoy fireworks much...they make life much too busy for our hubbies and so's. I did get out and light a few sparklers with my 7yo dd though. Hope everyone made it through the holiday safely.
Alicia, Ryan--Master Driver & Fire Marshall--actually posting for his room at the fire station in College Park, MD (he fell asleep and I'm wide awake)--I love the ones that look like millions of diamonds falling from the sky.
Hi ladies! Stacy and DF Mitch. He's a captain here in California.
My new favorite is the one I saw this year that looks like a snowball.. so beautiful!! Unfortunately, I was pelted by fireworks casings during the show. We thought it would be fun to sit really close.. duh! No major injuries, just some really cool souvenirs!
Debbie & Scott-volunteer firefighter/EMT in two towns in WA State. The only fireworks I like any more are the ones that are NOT going off in my neighborhood after 9:00 at night. I know, what a party pooper-but we have been listening to them bang and pop for two weeks now and as late as 2:00 in the morning. I am tired :-(
I wouldn't know the first thing about the "kinds" of fire works. The only kind I know about are the ones the town sets off (Macy's type thing) and they are all just fireworks. I don't like the little white ones, though, that make a really loud noise!
Gail, Tim - Firefighter/EMT and I post from Philadelphia, PA. I don't really have a favorite fire works but I have a REALLY funny fireworks story that I'll tell you all sometime!
