I just had to come and share with you all! The other night we decided to go to dinner over here by the house at a restaurant. Nothing special, just the three of us. Oh I can only hope that's true. Ya know, just about everyone in our row of tables seemed to jump up when it all went down, although there wasn't really much anyone can do. However, there was this one table where it was a family and the guy just looked and there was no expression of concern on his face. I coudln't believe it. I was appauled that he didn't even so much as bat an eyelash about the situation. He just kept his face in his pie the whole time (rolling my eyes).
Yes, I do think though that's one reason Jim's almost always so modest about throwing out the firefighter card. Don't get me wrong he is very proud of what he does. But he really just wants to be a good person, and doesn't want it to always be about the badge.
Terra, that is so great. I bet you and Nathan are so proud of him. Isn't it neat to watch them in action. When Erick was in the Fire Academy, they had a family night and we got to go watch them train at night and put out propane fires. Im sure it's different when it is for real, but it was still fun to go see him do what he loves.
