Do you set aside a certain day or try to allocate time for a date night?

We had started doing date nights, or rather date afternoons or date evenings. My oldest is 16 and is starting to babysit the other kids. I was really starting to get comfortable with leaving the kids. I'm a worrier and stress about the "What if's" but was doing very well.......... until.

Ugh :-( That certainly puts a damper on things at home, doesn't it? I hate it when dh gets threatened by someone, especially when it's someone who could potentially follow through on that threat. We can never be too careful!

Yikes! Was the man one of your neighbors?

Not quite a neighbor. He's a girl a few houses down's boyfriend but the gal he was beating up in the street is his wife. The fight wasn't about the cheating because apparentlyshe's cool with all that & they are all friends.

Unbelievable.

And....another real life soap opera plays out in the streets. I tell ya, there's definitely an entertainment factor to the job!
