Interview advice

Not sure how many read my intro. But I was 'removed from the department' at work due to AP outing our relationship. HR said I could find another position within the company at another location, and my file would only say removed but give no reason. I have an interview Friday and I am so sick with worry about what to say should they ask why I was removed. The head managers office of the department I was removed from, is in the building of the position I'm applying for. So I can't really stretch the truth at all. Does anyone know what kind of response I could give if they ask about my removal that would make me sound not as bad as I am? To really mess things up, we are ex-pats, and I'm on a visa here, which notes that I am married, so they will know that also. Ive really shot myself in the foot this time.

WIR....My H works with people all the time on interviewing. I will text him at work and ask him this question. My guess is he will say because it is something that could be "found out" if they really want to, is to say " I had a misunderstanding with another employee" and leave it at that. He is always saying people say WAY to much when they interview and you actually have to stop yourself from saying anything unnecessary. I will ask him and get back to you! ((hugs)). Does xAP have to move also? Daisy

Thanks ladies. My stomach is in knots tonight. AP was removed also, but has already found another position with another company. I just feel like people generally judge women harsher than men in a similar situation. Ugh. I've not been interviewed in so long. I appreciate all your responses.

How did it all go today?

Hoping you're through it, and that it went well for you.

Hugs,

Thanks everyone. It went well (I think). Surprisingly they didn't ask why I was removed. I'm guessing they probably already know.
