Hey babies!

I swear I tried very hard to come up with a better thread title than that.

Hi Kimmers (and all).

I missed everyone last week, and this week is only looking mildly better.

Now that we've got 'going off willy nilly' out of the way, ;) I don't mind Mondays!

Lu, baby -

The project will NOT be a huge flop. There is no way that will even be possible. You care, and you DO know what you are doing, and you will work your buns off to make it all happen the way that you want it to. Failure is not an option - it just is not going to happen. Matter of fact - I should probably just go ahead and put the word "flop" into the bin of "f" words that I do not like and will not tolerate. Do you hear me?!

(Surprisingly - or not so, really - the "f" word that you might think would be the first in that bin is nowhere near it. Matter of fact, that one is a personal favorite of mine, and I keep it close to me, always.)

A writing class - too cool! I think that sounds like fun - I hope you love it. I mean, it sounds like you will love it, or that you think that you will love it, otherwise why would you feel geekily excited about it, that would be silly. So of course you will love it. I just hope that you remind yourself regularly that you kick ASS and are already a fabulous writer, and that you do not engage in any sort of negative self-talk. And I swear...if I find out that you have started comparing your work to anyone else's in the class...well, there will be BIG TROUBLE. BIG TROUBLE.

So you're not going to the place your H suggested (good for you, for recognizing that is not a benefit to you) - do you have a counter-suggestion? :)

Hugs,

Kim

I can't even type the word "retirement" without getting the shivers. It freaks me out, honestly. The whole idea of it. Every day all blending into the others, no clear work days/fun days marked off on the calendar, no structure, gah.

But um, I'm glad you like it. :)

I don't think I know what a crocus is. I know daffodils - we have some here, and they just came out, actually. I saw them today! But crocus...I don't know what they look like (or don't know that they are called that) so I will have to google and see them.

Given that I don't even think I know what they are, sadly, I have no cool crocus story to share. So thank goodness you and Lulu had some. Phew. That was a disaster narrowly avoided right there, because really, what is Spring without a good crocus story?

(Pretty big talk from someone who doesn't even know what one IS, eh?)

I feel like I should point out that as of right now, 71 views, six posts by three people.

ANXIOUS.

:)

Kim

You must have posted this as I was composing my post because I didn't see it...'til now...because Kim was saying all these things to you and I'm wondering where she got all her information.

I, too, refuse to consider your 'f' word in regards to your new endeavors.

Oh crap, delurk week? I looked, so I have to post or Kim will get me. Seriously I don't come here that much anymore because..I am really over it. It's been 4 years and um..I'm just kind of bored with the whole thing. Not with people here, no no no. But with endless recycling of my behavior, and blame, and all that stuff. Move on already, I told myself.

But anyhow since Kim brought it unfairly up, it won't be spring here in these parts for many many weeks. And I am grouchy about that. What's up with you right coasters and that warm weather?

And BTW..I would freaking love to retire. Think of all the time I would have to do all my sports, and to read, and to POST. Hahahaha.

Hi Kim,

Since I just shared some heavier stuff on my other thread, I will share something on the lighter side here.
