The first thing that comes to my mind is ditto...everything you have described is me at some point...still on many days...15 months later. One best piece of advice for you now...get your own counselor...an IC for just you and soon...take care of yourself...try to stay in the strong phase...not the doormat one...I know it is hard, you are hurt, angry and numb or all three at any given time. One day at a time...the pieces will fall together eventually....you don't have to figure it all out today...just get through today.

I know exactly what you are going through. Stay strong. I still drive myself crazy wondering what they talked about, how often they talked or got together, what she looked like and so on so forth. And its been over a year and a half since I found out. My H is my best friend and I turn to him for everything. When it all came out I felt soooo alone. I had no one to talk to who would understand how I felt. The only thing I could focus on was my kids and trying to heal. I am still with my husband. I love him very much. He offered to go to counseling with me but I refused. I wanted to heal on my own. I am so glad I found this forum because there are people like you and me. It will get better. Focus on yourself right now and try to heal.

What you are going through is what we ALL went through. Obsessing over details is what the betrayed do!

I felt that if I could just truly understand exactly what happened, and WHY,

I read Shirley Glass "Not Just Friends" when he had an EA 2 years ago. It is a really good book. I borrowed it from the library, not knowing I should of just bought my own copy. :-(
