As most of you know we have 2 houses one we are preparing to rent and a new/old house we live in now. At the old house we have a couple of feral barn cats that we cant move yet but we feed every day.

I think that I would be "surprising" him again.

This kind of stuff is so frustrating. I feel like it goes on forever!

I agree with previous poster- you should pay him another visit. Maybe you'll get to see what he's up to. If not at least he'll know that he can't "hide" anything.

Good luck! Keep us posted.

I know you must be feeling very unsettled after his panicky reply. If you have not talked to him yet, I agree that you may want to "surprise" him again. But...be prepared for what is it you plan to do if you confirm he is up to his old tricks. Will it be the deal breaker?
