Of course it means something. It means he's either bisexual or gay. Your best shot at getting him to open up is to initiate a blame-free discussion. Tell him you're prepared to hear anything he has to say, that you only want honesty (assuming that's the case). Of course, you'll also have to decide if this marriage is viable for you.

What is important here is what you want and will you be able to get it with him. Even though he is having sex with men, it is still infidelity. He is betraying your trust and if he is not using protection, he is putting your life in danger. You decide if you can stay with him and what you need from him in order to do so.

He's flying back home tomorrow. I don't know how I'll feel when I see him.

I just wanted to point out that it is less common for a man on the receiving end of oral sex to catch HIV (unless there are open wounds on the penis).

The easiest way to catch HIV is on the receiving end of anal sex - as it is common for anal sex to cause tearing/bleeding.

** I edited this post to make it clear I was specifically talking about HIV, and not all STDs.

sorry but giving oral sex to a person is a transmission of body fluids and that in itself is a transmission of sexual diseases, semen transmits sexual diseases just as blood does.

Sorry, I was specifically talking about HIV (since that is the one mentioned where you have to wait several months before you are testable as "clear"). I know I did not make that clear in my previous post.

If you would like more information about HIV transmission rates, and how they vary by sex act, I would be happy to share.
