Hello fellow BS’s,
Just a quick question about cell phone service in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My BF is on business there and is coming home tomorrow. I have not been able to get a hold of him via cell phone mostly during the day. (We have Verizon).
He does pick up when he is around or in his home, usually in the late afternoon/early evening. He claims that when I finally get a hold of him that his phone never rang nor does it show a missed call (I need to get in touch with him b/c I manage his commercial properties). This seems relatively familiar when my XH would go on business and I could never get a hold of him b/c he was with OW. I do not want to overreact nor do I want to be another fool.
I have heard from people in my area (Boston, Ma) that Verizon is going downhill and the service has been terrible the last couple of years…But I don’t want to be a liar to myself like I was with XH.
Is it possible that the cell phone service is lousy in the North Myrtle Beach area??? Or is he lying? I checked his email, voicemail and online bank statements and found nothing so far. Please respond quickly!!! Thanks and God Bless
Always, Christy
By the way I can’t stand this new website thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I travel the east coast a lot.
I have Verizon. I don't have a cheap throw-away phone. In the last 10 years I haven't had a phone call dropped.
I have never had a problem there. I usually stay on the south end.
Face it, he just isn't answering.
We only miss what could have been. I know I don't miss what it really was.
I used to have Verizon and I hated it. I, too, had issues with dropped calls and not receiving calls--funny thing is, the phone would go directly to VM, even though it was sitting in front of me where I could have heard it ring.
I switched to t-mobile and I love it. You might want to switch carriers.
I agree with your assessment of this website... they can't seem to work out the problem--which is to rehire the company that was maintaining their website because they knew what they were doing.
I'm with Glenn, Check the phone records. If he is up to something, he will freak when you ask him for them.
