I hope somebody out there remembers me, but you might not because I only contributed briefly, although I lurked for a long time.

Yeah, I found out that my Father-in-Law cheated on my spouses mom. I found out because my spouses AP told her about hearing about the affair while they were in bed. Ugh! My MIL confirmed it, but she ask after-the-fact if she could tell me, and he said no. SOOOO, I told him about my spouse's AP telling my spouse, and FIL just denied it. I asked him please to give my spouse some advice about being the WS and to just help his daughter, but he just lectured me for an hour about how he didn't do it and that my spouses affair was my fault.

Then he wonders why I won't listen to any of his Bull-S*** stories or advice.

I'm sorry all this is dredging up all those hurt feelings. Take care of you OK! Make sure daughter is getting some therapy.

"If a problem arises it is better to deny that there is a problem than to face it and feel the pain."

Yeah, interesting side affect of a parents affair. My spouse doesn't understand that she just didn't betray me, she betrayed our family. In essence, if Dad doesn't find out, it's ok.

Woof!
