Need 2 find his secret second cell phone

Hi --

I found evidence that my husband more than likely has a secret second cell phone. He has cheated me in the past, so I'm no dummie. I know what he would be using it for.

Does anyone know how to find out a person's cell phone number? I tried the national cell registry and came up with nothing. I call the carrier of his current cell and there are no other numbers associated with it. There were not.

& I do not want to confront him until I know for sure...

the OW didn't 'suddenly' reappear, hor was never all that far away one way or the other. Thing is - thought hor phone numbers are blocked from home and his cell (of course could have that pay as you go) hor never did ever call from other numbers other than friends numbers or having friends call to call him on his cell. AND hor never tried to email him or contact him on classmates (before I got rid of it) just harass me with stuff....so I don't know what is going on... but I do agree - he is not as open a book as I would like but then again, much more open then he's been - he's also trying to cope being off his meds (zoloft) that was mis prescribed and he was on for 6 years - those bad years where he didn't think straight, almost lost the business totally, had the A and 2 hookers. It really messed w/ his mind, and now he is finding being 'regular' and upset when he is upset, weird. The zoloft really messed with his thinking and head.....

I agree. Seems to me he would remember if he threw a phone away or not. Especially if it sat there for 5 months then suddenly disappeared recently. I would search his car from top to bottom when he is asleep.

I agree that the word "probably" threw it out is problematic in a situation like this.

If he were trying to rebuild trust then he would have handed it to you and told you to take a hammer to it and there would be not "problably" involved... you would have known exactly where it had gone and would not be worrying like this.

I am also looking for a pay as you go, he had one for months just sitting on the headboard gathering dust - the OW is acting up again, driving by etc, and the pay as you go disappeared - when asked, H said Oh - I don't know - I 'probably' threw it out - Probably - that's a flag like the "Just" in "Just Friends" at least that's how I feel - we're 9 months into R - and I just can't bring myself to trust!

Peacyma's right he likely has a go phone or a cheap pay by minutes phone that does not have a bill. You just buy more minutes when the phone runs low and there is no record of calls. No bill comes in mail at all.

It is likely in a toolbox, glovebox, side pocket, or even tire well holder ...

You already know the answer to your question. I was in the same boat, and STBX had gotten a track phone. There's a great article on this at http://doover.com/Finances/tabid/82/ID/82/Should-You-Catch-a-Cheating-Spouse.aspx

If he does it is probably one of those pay as you go phones and I don't think there is a way to track it down cause there is no physical bill sent. You could search his car at nite AFTER he is sleeping. Sometimes they hide in in the trunk buried under something or at the bottom of the glove box or under the seat somewhere. Or in his briefcase in a hidden compartment. If he has one it is most likely hidden in his car somewhere though. Unless he is slick enough to keep it at work where you won't find it. Most men aren't, BUT seeings he's gotten caught before HE may be.
