Some of you will remember me from 2008 when I posted regularly after finding out via his cell about my now XH's A.

Did my stomach ever clench when I read that! That same gut-feeling when my H was screwing around.

Your gut-feeling has never led you wrong so far and when you've been burned once, you never forget how it feels. I'm glad you woke his a** up and confronted him! Darn skippy! He should be thankful you didn't kick him out in his dainties when you saw that text. And the age difference astounds me. How could he possibly think it would EVER be okay to have any kind of relationship other than a working one with someone 22 years his junior? Yeah, warning bells right there.

It sounds like he's getting caught up in the excitement of the "chase". The fact that he's even allowing her to text him and then hiding it from you is wrong. If it's not any kind of affair yet, it sound like it soon will be, especially since he's got a pet name for her already.

Confront him about it, let him know that you will not tolerate it and that you're not as gullible as he would like to think.

BTW, this K person, she would happen to live in Toronto, Ontario, would she? Sounds like the OW my H had his EA with.

Oh, methinks he left just a littttttle too easily there. Yes, she is very young and stupid and sounds like a little hussy toying with whoever she wants, but knowing she flashed him - that should have been his first clue to stop all contact with her, not keep texting her. This didn't sound good a year ago and it ain't sounding much better now. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS, which no doubt have gotten pretty good by now. I applaud you for waking his ass up!!! There's no time like the present....

Thing is WHY does he need to be texting this 23 yr. old gal in the first place. Unless she's his daughter I don't think it's appropriate at all. I agree with ollie, being a man he's probably looking for an ego stroking ( like they all are in my opinion.)
