It really makes a huge differences doesn't it to hear other people have been through or are going through what you did, the same kick in the gut feelings. I too found comfort here, I'm 6 weeks today from dday and I know that this board, reading others' stories and getting great advice had a big part on getting me through the first few weeks especially, over Christmas to boot.
