Wow - my head is spinning

I kind of know where you're coming from:

I started really digging into my husband's email account after he confessed that he'd had a physical affair, and found that he'd been cruising the craigslist ads for years. He says he never met any of the women he emailed, that he was just looking for affirmation of his desirability, and I've decided to just take him at face value on this, as I had enough to deal with, coping with the revelation of his sexual affair in the last 2 months.

What I did, with his consent, was close his email account through which these searches and emails had been conducted. I don't know if you're able to do the same.
