Glass half full rather then half empty

I was thinking today, about my rebuilding and the ups and downs I have had over the 5 years. I had a some what of a light bulb moment and wanted to toss this out here..

I am a glass half full type of girl. My H is a glass half empty type of guy.

I don't know who's what in our house.

Ok, so you have made some great points here that I truly relate too..

Lets see first of all my H has never had to be responsible for anything really. I took care of the kids, the bills, the house, I went out of my way to be sure to spend as much time as possible with him, so forth and so on. From where I stood life for him was very good. And you may have a great point it might have been so good that he felt he deserved more.. He was always the life of the party so to speak, yet he felt some kind of entitlement of sorts. He resented when someone had more or could do more or could be more then he felt he was.

During his A he would say things like my parents never let me do this or that. Or I was not given the chance to be this or that. We had our children too young and I regret not being able to explore the possibility of being this or that.

Gal,

I am definitely a glass half-empty type of person and my H is a glass half-full. So, I'm not really sure what that says about our dynamics.
