Just a song on the radio..

H was unable to begin NC immediately after D-Day because she was still driving his truck due to his having wrecked her car. So almost 2 weeks later, we drove 1000 miles to get his truck after she was able to get a new car, and there was no one else he trusted with the truck since he owed a lot of people money. So she called a few times on our way down there to figure out how we were going to get the truck from her without having to actually have any contact with her. I realized at that time that the ringtone he had for her was "I Kissed a Girl" (she's Bi).
I used to like that song, turn it way up on the radio, get my wiggle on. It came on today, and I thought I was going to be sick.
Thankfully, I was comfortable enough to tell my husband about this, and he apologized yet again for his actions. I wondered how he reacted when he heard the song these days, and he said he usually changed the station, unless our son is in the car. I guess our kid likes the song, and if H insists on changing the station despite the boy's protestations, it might seem odd. I mainly needed to know that he doesn't just listen to the song with a smile on his face, and H assured me that he most certainly does not.
I could live the rest of my life without hearing that song.
I could live the rest of my life without seeing a commercial for an online dating service (how he met her).
I could live the rest of my life without seeing a commercial for Weight Watchers (she worked there, after having lost 100 pounds, which H says had a really unpleasant effect on her appearance... further proof that sometimes men really are stupid: I won a pageant in my heyday, right around the age when she was clinically obese).
OK now I feel really good. Thanks for listening! Sometimes my catty nature just gets the best of me!
I found a great song by Rebecca Lynn Howard, called "Forgive."
You know what may help?
