Thought this could be a positive mental exercise since it seems easier to focus on painful faults.

Can you name 3 wonderful things about your WS?

1. He can come home exhausted from work and still get on the floor and play with his children

2. He is a great cook

3. He helps clean up now w/o me harping!

He is all about "family" (almost lost it too!)

He has my back

He is going to be an awesome grandpa

Now I just need to stop thinking about all the horrible stuff he has done IN THE PAST

Just three, huh?

1. He is kind.

2. He is hard-working.

3. He is extremely intelligent.

And there are many more.

Rebuilding for 3 years.

I have been trying to do this in my head when I think about the affair I try to think of his qualities that are still holding me here.

1. He is the best dad any child could want.

2. He is always there for me and would give me the world if he could.

3. He is a hard worker.

I can list many more than just three, but my list has (understrandably) changed over the past few years.

1. He has worked extremely hard to get to where he is today, in our marriage, career, finances, life.

2. Helping others makes him feel good...and he will sacrifice a lot to help others in need, whether he knows them or not.

3. He is trying. Trying to fix himself and us. Going through hell to hopefully get our M to a better place. He is choosing the harder path because it is the right path...

My hubby.....

Is a wonderful father

He takes really good care of all of us

He puts me before anyone in the world - even during his A - After D-Day when I had the displeasure of reading all of his text msgs to Ms. Nasty and from Ms. Nasty there were several msgs begging him to spend time with her and him telling her that I come first. Wish he would have thought of that the six times he saw her during their A.

He is now an honest man again. Hopefully he won't slip into craziness or else I will be gone.
