Hi 5D....old timer too and still thankful for your support back when I was struggling so.
I tend to think that your dh really has learned about himself and when he may sink into old negative patterns. I think you have nothing to worry about as he is so very open to communicating with you when he feels himself slipping.

I find myself a bit envious of how open your Dh is with you. I am 100% sure that my H would never tell me if he crossed paths with his lowlife xow.

If I may ask, how do you bring up a difficult topic for discussion with H without putting him on the defensive. My dh always gets negative right away when i need to talk about the tough stuff.

Wishing you well from one "vet" to another :)

Myadorn,

It has been quite a journey for us both. I read through your updates. It sounds like things are improving for you for the most part.

At this point, I really don't think my husband would talk to any of these women. We have been talking about this. He is sincere. I believe him.

Wow, this thread is a bit of a vet reunion yes? Thank you 5D for the info on "sandwiching". I think i will try it on him.
@Myra...interesting thought about what would xow (aka skankarella) do if SHE ran into him. I truly think she would flat out proposition him on the spot. She was always ready and willing for quickies anytime anyplace and was very addicted to him. Would he say no? I wish i could say he would walk away but sadly....not sure and not naive anymore.
@tsah...I wish i could go a day without any thoughts of the betrayal. When and if that day ever comes I will perhaps finally be able to say im healed.

Oh i sound like debby downer but I have so many blessings in my life and THATS what keeps me going each and everyday:)

Cheers Vets, we are survivors and thrivers!

When you posted I was wondering if that post WAS the "rollercoaster" crap that goes merrily on for so many of us.
