I just wanted to thank you all for your support yesterday.. And give an update on things.

Last night when I got home from work, my h had a babysitter at the house. We went out for a long drive and talked. He told me I was right that he was not supporting me and that he was sorry!!! He took me to place we got married (we got married on the beach) Took me over to where we had stood many years ago and told me he loved me and he "vowed" to support me and be faithful to me til death due us part kissed me.Then out of no where he grabbed my hand ran with me back to the car and made me get in the drivers seat! We drove round and round that parking lot for well over an hour and half...

When we got home he made sure our kids were all ready for bed. Ran a bath for me and had candles going when I got out. It was so romantic!!

My old H would never have talked about it again. He would have turned it around on me some how and we would have given each other the cold shoulder for week...

Feeling much better today!! Thank you all for listen yesterday..
:) Irene

And then there is "hope" again. It's the best feeling in the world isn't it? I am very happy for you and I hope your husband continues on the path with you to a loving, respectful relationship. hugs, Tea

Thanks Tea, You are right it is a real good feeling when they get it! I guess the stupid little stuff seems so much bigger after d-day... I find I am unable to roll over on things the way I once did. Looking back on things now I see how unhealthy it really was to keep my feelings inside.I hope you have a great weekend. Irene
