So, after reading many posts here, I know I am not alone in this...
My boyfriend of two years took a break with me last Wed. because we are way too dependent on each other. He said that we both have to find each other...I asked him if this is a break or a break up and he said it was a hybrid of the two. It's a break, but he doesn't know how long this can take so, its a little bit of both I suppose. I feel empty, lost, rejected, and completely unmotivated. I asked him if this was so we can both have the freedom to party and sleep with new people without having any consequences and without hte guilt. He said no. We've seen each other twice since the break to unpack our apartment. He wants to see me tomorrow as well. I can't lie, it's great seeing him and I try very much to remain confident and upbeat when we see each other. The first encounter he seemed almost taken back that I was so upbeat... (i'm a very emotional person). So, do I let go of him and the hope that we will reunite one day, or let him go? He said that he still has faith in our relationship, he feels that we'll get back together. I just don't want to get my hopes up. What do I do? Where do I go from here? He's told me so many times in the past that he can't see himself marrying anyone else but me, even if we weren't together. Same went for me...
