I think for as far as Ive come this past month there is still one thing Im having problems with.

I always think of experiences like this as working out your muscles. When you weight train, you create tiny tears in your muscles, which is why you hurt the next day, but you recover from that and your muscles will become stronger.


I think you're breaking down your experiences with him like this. You are seeing where the red flags were so that you don't make the same mistake again. The trick is to recognize it, forgive yourself if you need to, and don't dwell on your past. Use it as a learning experience and move on. You can't examine every little detail that went on or else you will drive yourself crazy!

Dealing with those thoughts and rememberances is part of the process--the whole "the only way out is through" thing.
