Hi hun,

Get rid of the internet connection, if it's possible. that's one way. At one point, I considered doing that, but I needed it for other stuff, so it was a no-go. I would suggest, that every time you go to check, walk away. go outside, or make yourself do something else. You've trained yourself to have this behaviour, now you need to untrain yourself. It's really really hard. I know. Good luck with it, and keep posting. I've found it to be very helpful to post to the board when I'm totally at a loss.

you might try just getting out of the house...away from your computer and away from any phones...if you have a cell leave it behind. Stay busy....go see the sites, go shopping, join a gym and try to distance yourself from him. Good luck and keep us posted!!

I get like that too and as the old saying goes, we need to "get a life" ... time helps but meanwhile you need a replacement for the action (checking e-mail) Maybe you could post or lurk on this board instead of sending an e-mail. I noticed that just reading the messages helps me get a grip on my better judgement and has really helped be deal with the break-up I'm going thru. Or how 'bout a journal?? You then write in the journal instead of checking the e-mail - it may help to clear your thots and get a grip on all the issues in your life. My total empathy to u, V

u have to get real

Why dont u simply ask him if theres a chance both of u can be a couple?

If the answer is no, it would be easier then havin in mind that he s not really interested in being yur boyfriend

LUCK
