He wrote me again!

He emailed again today at school asking if he can reschedule our dinner on Wed night to Thursday. I wasn't even really sure we were meeting for dinner Wed. So after asking a friend's advice, I wrote him back and tried to be very nice. He needed to reschedule because his friend Eddie had a big fight with his GF and he's going to hang out with him for the evening. Then he said that he can't meet on Fri. because he's going to a movie with his mom. Now as much as it aggravates me that I am second again, I realized that I put him second last night sort of when I told him I could only meet for a certain time. So, I wrote back and agreed to reschedule for Saturday since I have another book club meeting Thurs. I give a time on Sat. and explain that the time may change since I am attending a big conference in downtown Houston, and will have about an hour's drive back home to meet him. So he says no for Sat. because he doesn't want me rushing to meet him when I have so much going on this weekend. He says Monday now. So I agree, and asked him to please not cancel on me again. He says "Why would I do that? This was my idea in the first place." I reply that he canceled on me last night. He says he didn't, it was a reschedule. I tell him I'm confused and distraught about everything that has gone on since last night. I ask him to just call me so we can talk, especially since there are 6 days between now and Monday. He writes back, being a smart a**, and says he can't call me, he's at school. Sense of humor is a good thing right? He wrote after school and said that he got the mail I brough to his school this morning. I haven't heard anything since then. I don't know what he's going to say about the letter. I wish he would call me. I want to know if this is just two friends going to dinner, or is he wanting to discuss us?

At least this gives me time to go shopping so I can make my new dress look wonderful, and show him what he's missing! Hey, I've lost 20 lbs. I can flaunt it a little for my husband right?
