How to Get Your Ex Back ?

Hi, folks, I am new here. I would like to know if there are any discussion boards here dealing with how to get your ex back? Or would this be the appropriate board/forum to discuss this?
I am in that situation right now, and would like to engage others who are in that situation, or have been in that situation.

There are no specific boards for that. You could try posting here. Most of the people who are regulars read all of the relationship problem boards anyway.
Why do you want to get your ex back? What is so special about them? Why did you break up in the first place?
1. Because I love her.
2. So many things are special, too numerous to mention :-)
3. I didn't realize that she was the one. I needed space apart to see that. What I was looking for was right in front of me all along. As the cliche goes, sometimes you don't realize what you have until it's gone.
Who asked for the space, you or her?
It all depends upon whether she sees the wisdom in getting back with you. If she sees none, then you have to accept that you messed up and lost your chance. You cannot force her into a course of actions she's dead set against. Manipulating her will backfire worse because she will not appreciate gameplaying, especially if it wasn't her idea to begin with to break up. If she's found someone else who can see and appreciate her value on first blush, then my dear boy, that ship has sailed. Time to move on.
All you can do is tell her what you said here--that you were dumb & didn't appreciate her and now you wish you could get back together. then it's up to her if she wants to give you another chance.
