A few days later I called to talk to him and ended up in tears, trying to explain what i was going through. He didn't seem upset or anything, then he called me later that night at 7 p.m. and again at 12:30 a.m. from "our meeting place", he didn't want to talk, he wanted to go in and have a beer and go home. He said he wanted to know if I was out, but I wasn't, I was home in bed. OK.
So I gave him a few days and left a "thinking about you, let's talk" message. He never returned it.
I ran into him at an intersection near where I work, we also work in the same office park.
He was waving like crazy, I kept my shades on and made like I dropped something and didn't see him.
For the last 3 weeks, on Friday and Saturday, I get "Restricted No" calls after 9 p.m. on my cell phone. The first time I had been out at a friend's and was returning home at 10:30, I answered and nobody said anything on the other end, then hung up.
The second one was last Friday night at 9:30, I was on the other line and didn't click over, and they didn't leave a message.
Today at my usual lunch time (11 a.m.) I got another one, no one on the other end.
Can this possibly be him? Why not say anything?
My friends, as soon as I said what kind of call it was all said, "Well, you know who that is!"
Who else would call my cell directly that late at night? I did a test with another cell phone, same carrier and we did *67 and it came up "Restricted No." just like the calls I had gotten.
A guy friend thinks my ex is out drinking and thinks,
"I'll call her, or just listen to her VM greeting." Like that provides some comfort.
Any thoughts????
