So here it goes....
I have a long distance relationship with my bf. We've known each other for a year and a half, and have been dating for 6 months. I live in the states and he lives in ireland. However we talk everyday.
He was over here to visit in August, and we had an amazing time. I mean competely inseparable!! Things seemed fantastic.
I few weeks ago I book a plane ticket to Ireland for December. We were both super excited about this trip. Then we have a fight over the weekend. It was something really stupid too.
Next thing I know, I get an email from him saying he doesn't want me to come to ireland. In a nutshell, he told me he doesn't love me the way I love him, and that's not fair to me. Supposedly this was really hard for him to do or so he says. Of course the "break up" came in email form b/c he didn't feel to could talk to me??!?!? And as of the last to days he wont return an email or text message or anything.
Any take on this? I mean what can I do really if he doesn't love me...
So now I'm stuck with a broken heart, and a plane ticket.

I'm so sorry you're going thru this.
Thank you for your kind words, and encouragement. There are probably some other issues going on here that I'm just not aware of, and probably never will be. I do know, I
Welcome to the board psu_proud,
Do you know anyone that wants to go to Ireland with you for a vacation?
Well I have asked a few people if they'd like to go with me. They said they'd have to get back to me which is totally understandable.
As I mentioned he broke up with me in an email and is now hiding from me. Do I think he'll try to contact me and say he changed his mind? My heart tells me no. I have a feeling, call it women's intuition, that there's something else going on that I'm not being told.
You gals are so sweet. Thank you for the kinds words and encouragement. It means a lot to me believe me. Yes I do believe in talking about things
