I need insight-left for someone else

so as we know, my ex bf left me for someone else. apparently the reason was because we were so different. he told my co worker that we were different and i didn't like to drink, but his new gf loves to drink with him... yea i kno, lame. so,any who, its only been three weeks and i would say that within 1 week of us apart they are in a committed relationship, whatever. she's actually going to russia with he and his family this july. i don't understand why this is moving so fast.

its been about 3 weeks since the break up and we have not talked to eachother outside of work. he seems to be into this girl. anyways, when we are at work he keeps talking to me like nothing has happened between us. im sure that he's just doing this to make himself feel less guilty, but he keeps telling me things like what he did the night before and showing off his new watch and all these little details about what's going on.

my problem is that i don't know how or if i should do the no contact thing. im pretty much over him, but im still very upset as to the way that he was sneaking around talking to her while we were still together and also how he lied to me when we broke up and allowed me to find out about their " budding" relationship in such a cruel way.

i don't know why he is doing this to me because its obvious that he never cared about me. i really don't like him, as a person. so i want to know if i am justified in ignoring him when he tries to talk to me or am i just being petty?
