Men play games too

It's been about six weeks since he left and we haven't contacted each other. At first I didn't have a number to reach him but a couple of weeks ago he called and I saw his number on my caller ID (he had apparently got some money to turn his cell phone back on). He called again and this time I answered. He said hello I said hello and then he hung up. A couple of nights ago a good friend of his who knew we had broken up calls me on my cell phone and asks to speak to my ex. I reminded him that we were not together anymore. He told me that my ex had called twice but didn't leave a number and wanted to know if I knew how he can reach him. I told him to try his old cell phone number and I gave it to him, but I pretended that I didn't know he put the phone back on. It seems strange to me that if my ex called him from his cell phone the number would not have come up and that if he called him twice why didn't he leave a number? Anyway, having a sympathetic ear I talked and talked to his friend about the break-up and how bad I feel about it. It occured to me later that I probably was set up. Now he knows how I feel even though I haven't called him. I know it's not a big deal. But I really don't see his friend's call as random. Especially, being that this is the friend that I suspect helped him move out. He was the last persom my ex called from my cell phone the day he left. It just surprised me to see that men play the same types of games women have been known to play. Do you think I'm reaching or do you think I'm right?
