What are the most popular break-up excuses? I am vey curious.

Some I know of:

I need space (this is my guess for most popular...from my own personal "poll". Lol!)

It's not you, it's me.

You are not the one.

I'm not happy.

I'm seeing someone else.

Any others?

So what can a guy say when he realizes the girl isn't the right one? I've heard most of these same lines coming from the woman's side, and I can't think of a single thing to tell someone that isn't going to hurt them in this situation (male or female).

I must say that most of the ones I was thinking about writing was already thought of but here are some that my ex had said to me at certain points of various conversations as we were discussing why he broke it off:

-You're a great person,but I just can't be with you right now

- I just can't see us being happy together if we decided to get married (sure after 6.5 years of my already invested and committed time)

- I can't handle everything anymore

A co-worker of mine said this could be a good one....

- We can't date anymore, I am Gay

Hopefully this gives us all a few good laughs at the stupid things men come up with.

Lol. How could I forget "You're a great person, but I just can't be with you right now"?! Then of course, I read into the RIGHT NOW part.

Funny that you mention the gay thing...my Mom has now got me toying with the idea that my exe might possibly be gay!!
