Kate, you made me laugh with this:

I could mention what I won't miss, but you guys don't have all day, and that's what I have to keep reminding myself.

Really, we do have all day. LOL If nothing else, make a list and keep it handy to remind yourself.

Ok, here's the list, it's a lot of little things but a few important things....

I won't miss:

-Watching him drink a six pack every night
-him coming to bed at midnight when i've been sleeping for 2 hours (i work early) and expecting you know what
-him going out with a certain friend and either crashing at his house or his friend driving him home at 2am only to wake me up because they're drunk and loud (this is a weekly occurrence)
-him not showing affection to me, like hold my hand or kiss me other than a peck goodnight
-Having to ask for a back or foot rub
-No playfulness, you know the playful grabs and squeezes :)
-Doing his laundry
-Cooking dinner at night only to have him say he won't be home
-His sloppyness, he'll change out of his work clothes and they'll lay in the hallway
-No help with chores, he takes out the trash if I leave him a note.
-PROCRASTINATION (no follow through on anything which is inherited from his parents)
-Him getting so drunk every weekend he's stumbling around the bar or house
-him telling me I keep him from his friends and family????
-His parents who are daily functional alcoholics, gee where does he get it from?
-Having to take care of all the bills
-The way he spends his money, he tracks his balance by checking his debit card at the atm.
-Sitting home by myself upset that he doesn't want to spend any time with me.
-him never taking me out on a date. Always has to have friends along.
-He's never taken me to a movie.
-him just not being excited about me anymore.

Yet he doesn't want me to move out, well I've become Mom and I realize that now.
I'm sure there's more but that's a good start!

Gee..that is a long list all right. You said earlier ..he is sexy..heck he could look like Tom Cruise and be all of those things in the list, that list totally outweighs anything. If you guys ever had married or gone even long term, those issues would have taken over..looks like he never looked for your needs..

Sorry if I sound brutal..but you are better off without him !
