Hey Piano Guy,

Why the third person replies? Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where "Jimmy" liked Elaine..LOL..

hi wannaheal!

PG gets this question practically every month---so for the umpteenth time....

IT'S STRICTLY A WRITING STYLE! All of my responses usually begin with the "Pianoguy" reference.

You'll notice that I usually revert to the 'first person' by the time I arrive at paragraph #2 or #3. But on occasion, I'll switch back to the 3rd person...particularly if I separate it by using (parenthesis).

No doubt one or more of my grammar school English teachers...assuming they're still alive...have a silent wish that I'll eventually BURN IN HELL for the way I begin my ivillage posts?

I also know there are a few members of the "Computer Format Police Patrol" who HATE the fact THAT I USE CAPS WHEN I WISH TO EMPHASIZE A POINT OR TWO! .

Hopefully....my ivillage friends aren't that upset by my 3rd person personna??? I'm honestly much happier when they take the time to read, digest, and offer a comment (good or bad) to a thought (or two) that I've shared earlier.
