Putting up Christmas decorations........

It's lonely doing this by myself. Of course, he and I did not hardly see each other the last month and a half before we broke up. So more than likely I would be doing this by myself anyway. Just wish I had someone to share it with.

I was just putting up my Christmas decorations too! I tried to get a friend to come over and hang out for a while, but she couldn't. I am sure this is hard for you, but take a deep breath and keep decorating. And if you have a friend around, call them and ask them to come over to see what you've done.

Take care-

hopeful615...

Believe it or not...GUYS go through this too! ?

I know I'll probably break down and string a few lights, hang an ornament or two, bake a few cookies, or display a few Christmas cards? But I guess my toughest days will be December 24th and 25th? Unless I'm in the company of friends or family for a portion of the weekend..."disguising my happiness over the holidays" will be difficult?

How many decorations or lights I choose to put up DOESN'T REALLY MATTER!

Well, you do more than most guys. Most single guys I know barely acknowledge Christmas, much less do any kind of decorating. They usually leave that all up to the women. I don't have much family, so the holidays can really be a lonely time for me. Thank goodness I have one really good friend who includes me in all her family gatherings, so I always have a place to go on a holiday.

yeah, I have been putting that off for awhile. We had a few nice days in our area where I should have put them up, but last night a friend of mine asked when I was going to put up my snowflake lights like last year that she's been driving past. So right when I got home at 11:00 p.m, I dug out my lights and put them up, well 1/2 way up. It felt good, kept my mind off things.

He never helped me put them up last year, our first christmas living together either. But it makes me sick to think he could be helping her put them up, but everybody says, he's not going to change. The other girl didn't get a prize. He wasn't good to you, he might be awhile for her, but goes back to his old habits. I just don't know. Thoughts eat away at me. I know I just need to stop thinking about it so much..
