How are you supposed to act around your ex if you see them?
Should I just ignore him and let him think that i Dont care!!??!
Or should i make eye contact with him?
I think that their is a possiblity that we can get back together thats why I need to know how to act in front of him to make him realize what he is loosing.
I see him almost EVERYDAY.
Hope someone can help.
Thank you

You know better than any of us why your EX/BF is YOUR EX, right????
Why make a big production out of making eye contact, conversation or anything else with him.
Hello?
Although I am no expert, I went through a break-up about a month ago. We dated for a couple of years and he is the one who decided to end it. Even though it has been hard at times, I have not contacted him in any way and WILL NOT! He has shown up at a couple of clubs that I have gone to just to see what I am doing and who I am with, but I just go on with my evening as if he isn't even there and focus on friends and meeting new people, dancing and having fun! I have always heard that apathy is the best way to handle a break-up (at least in the public's eye)! If you feel the need to be emotional or cry, just do it privately.
You can't worry about things that you cannot control, like his thoughts and his feelings. Just work on yourself and make YOU the best person that you can be! Believe me, I have heard this hundreds of times, but after some time of healing I honestly believe it!
And remember..the best revenge is living well!!
Best of luck to you and stay strong!
I dont know if there is a "right" way. I jsut posted earlier today and you can read that, but in a nutshell I saw my ex in a bar and we totally ignored eachother and I left with my pals shortly after he arrived.
HOWEVER, I haven't stopped thinking of him and we have had absolutely NO contact for about 5 wks now. SO, I wrote him a letter because I had a couple of things to say.
Act however you want, but make sure you understand why. Being nervous and unwound is so normal. I probably shouldn't have written the letter, but I like the letter I wrote and its so not about he and I getting back together, its more of just some things I wanted in black and white for him to see.
Remember, it is ALWAYS awkward after a break up and nothing you do or say will ever fix that. However "weird" you or he acts toward one another it always is stemming from how strange the idea of "breakup" and reality of it all actually is.
But on top of everything, make sure you try and collect yourself around him and dont act out. That is just handing over justification for the breakup and making you look powerless.
Wave, say hi, be polite but do NOT be his friend because he is not yours and never has been. Boyfriends are partners and lovers, not all "friend". They are "friends-PLUS"
Best of luck to you.
Thank you everybody for your comments!!!
For the past three days I have just been ignoring him. When he broke up with me he told me that he still wanted to talk to me and that he didnt want to lose me completely, he asked me to be his friend, but I told him I couldnt. Everytime I see him, I just pretend he is not there and keep on walking.
Thank u for ur help.
