After waking up feeling so so sad, I took a mental health day yesterday and worked in the yard.

Well, I don't have to go by and give my daughter her clothes because he didn't bother to pick her up from her after school care!!!!!!!!!

I'm guess she's lucky that I stopped by there on my way home, huh?

I'm really really angry there's no excuse for that.

He called..........bad communication..........

Monday night he told her he might pick her up today after school because he didn't know if he would be working out of Town or not.

I told him to speak to speak to her about it.......he explained and asked her if she wanted to come over.

It's hard to trust he will do the right thing and/or be there when he says he will.

You know, we bring things into our lives, especially those thigns we fear the most, by what we think and the way we act.

I think the hardest thing in the world for you to do, even moreso than getting over this, is going to be getting past: ....."since he got the DUI he seems to be making an effort to do what he says he's going to do and does fun things with her..........I just keep waiting for him to mess up...........................

This is never going to end, is it? He'll always be in my life because of our daughter........... and I'll always be checking behind him to see that he does what he say's he is going to do regarding her."..... It will end when you put a stop to your way of automatically thinking the worst.

There's a saying that goes, "Even Jesus was only a carpenter in Nazareth." I know that because it's your daughter and her happiness at stake that this may be a monumental task, but if he is really going to be able to step up to the plate in the way she needs him to as her father, you really need to consider not "checking up behind him" and definitely not jumping to conclusions as badly as I have just in this thread witnessed you do. You'll be a much happier woman, I can almost guarantee you that.

I think if you do that, you'll be amazed someday at the ease in which you co-parent this child and live your lives.

Good luck,
