Should I let go..Someone help!

I know that I am a lot younger and a lot more inexperienced then most people on this board. But the way I see it, love happens at any age, and a problem is a problem. I am 18 years old and my boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half. I don't feel a connection with him like I used to, but I don't know if the lack of emotion is enough to throw it all away. I love him, but I'm just not sure if its enough to stick around for. Our relationship lacks passion lately and I just don't know what to do. I could really use some advice...from anyone. I am desperate. Thank you for your time...

Relationships go thru cycles and one of those is "comfort". What you may feel is comfort, which is not all that uncommon at your point of a relationship. The issue is that you are young, and many times this is what drives young love apart. You go away to college ,or you seek more passion outside of the relationship. And its not hard to find at your age.
I think you either have to find passion within yourselves again, or realize that maybe your relationship has reached its expiration age.
Welcome to the board mae2008,
Relationship do go in cycles. But at your age, when you add growing up, maturing and finding out who you are, it can change a lot of relationships.
