There's a saying that says that it takes time to get over a relationship.

This is not true, well not for me at least.

First of all, temporarilly, time does work very well. You can forget about him for months or even years. But as soon as some little reminder of him comes up somewhere.. like your song on the radio or you run in to him again - all that time and healing goes to waste. It just comes back to you even stronger and you start idealizing things about him and how it would be to be with him. But our sadness that it's over causes us to be oblivious to the fact that if it ended, there must be a reason. Even if you do get back together with your ex, the experience will make you a stronger person and you will realize what you really are looking for in a guy.

It hurts bad, but the only way to heal is to feel a little pain.

Tell me what ya'll think please

and good luck with all your guy problems... cuz we all need it

What I've always thought is that you never really get over someone ... you just get used to the pain, and after a while you don't feel it as much anymore because it's always there. I've loved and lost many times, and I still remember most of the experiences.
