The "unwedding" day

I've been doing pretty well lately since the breakup and gained acceptance in that if we were meant to be she wouldn't have called it off, but one little thing has crept up here lately and is trying to bother me. Tomorrow is the day that my ex and I were to be married.
I don't want to be thinking about it so I made plans to be busy with friends tomorrow, but those plans have gotten ruined due to various reasons. I am wondering if any of you have been in this situation and if so what you did to keep your mind off thinking about the broken wedding? I'm going to try to find something to do, but would appreciate any feedback on what are good things to do to get through the "unwedding" day. Thanks.

I am so sorry. I can only imagine how you must feel since I have never been in your position. The only advice I can give you is to keep yourself busy and do not be alone tomorrow. No offense to your friends but they do know that tomorrow is potentially going to be a bad day for you and they should not have cancelled on you. Unless it is a serious reason, no reason is good enough. Try to find at atleast one person to hang out with and do something fun and amazing. Something you have always wanted to do but never got around to it. AND if you can't get anyone to hang out, go out on your own. But do not sit at home, it will just make you feel worse and you might end up doing something you regret, like picking up the phone....

Good luck to you! If you feel overwhelmed, just log on and type away. You are not alone, we are all here for you.

Hello eddie. I agree with lady. Get out and do something today. Just keep yourself busy and surround yourself with friends. I am hoping that the friends that cancelled on you have a good reason because, this is a time when you could use a lot of support. Please have a good day and rely on your support network here to help you through it.
