There's nothing really stopping you from reviving this friendship in the future. It's only really been 2 months or so, which isn't a lot of time for you to heal.

I would nix the weekly coffee date. Seriously. I can't see any good that will come of it right now. No matter how it turns out, you'll spend hours or days afterwards agonizing over whether or not there was anything in it.

Plus Sandra touched on this in another post - I've almost always dated my friends, but I've never had any of my best (guy) friends use me a as a rebound. They value and respect my friendship too much. Just something to think about.

- There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore, and who always will. So don't worry about people from your

Hi justevil100,

If you want to be more than friends, why would you agree to a 'standing date' to be just friends?

The thing is, I know he cant give me anything more. I cant give him anything less. I know I would be hurting, but 30 minutes once a month is better than nothing. ANd then maybe one day I will want to be just friends. But god, hes the man of my life. I think I realized that I love myself (thats not the realization) more than I love him and I want his all, his everthing. But we both need and want each other in our lives. We got in a huge argument today, so I think any option is off regardless.

We get to teach tomorrow, this will be so terribly exciting!!!!
